We're starting to transition back to normal life. I know because I went to a bar the other night. Sure, I’d attended a couple of backyard BBQ’s. Drank my fair share of lawn beers. Even went on a few random dates. But this was the first time I'd met friends at an establishment, and hung out over drinks.

Some of us were vaccinated. We all wore masks. The place was socially distanced and well ventilated. It felt like, if not a full-fledged fresh start, the beginnings of one... And that’s something I could use.

If you've read my past posts, you know I began this blog because, at 36, my life isn’t where I imagined it’d be. Hence Lost Highway Man. The name is taken from a famous Hank Williams song. It was auto-suggested by the domain company because my original choice, wayfaringstranger.com, cost around $10,000. This one was 14 bucks.

I’m using this post to set an intention for the next year. I’m going to put more stuff out in the world. I’ve spent a lot of time writing screenplays. Now I’m going to post here multiple times a month. They’ll be shorter and more frequent. I’ll keep up with the playlist and media recommendations. I also intend to do a collection of short stories.

May will be the first month on the new schedule. We’ll see how it works. I’m excited to give it a try. Now to steal a phrase from our evil globalist over-lords... Here’s to a great reset.

Thanks to everyone who’s read my stuff up until this point. Feel free to share with you anyone you think would enjoy. Peace.
